“If you hear a voice within you saying, ‘You are not a painter,’ then by all means paint boy, and that voice will be silenced.”…Vincent can Gogh
Kevin calls himself a Sunday painter. He paints on the weekends at Studio Carlisle with his five painting partners. During the week, Kevin works as an executive in a Columbia marketing company.
Kevin’s paintings portray snippets of life as it was and is: the old filling station, the posed lady in her “one piece”, the traffic in a big city. His technique of clearly defined shapes in rich jewel tones is breathtaking.
