Ann Anrrich

Having grown up in Columbia, Ann was later instructed at USC by, among others, Edmund Yaghjian and Boyd Saunders.  While living in Alabama, she had two daughters and as they grew, she became passionate about drawing and painting them.  Over the years, she has enjoyed observing and painting scenes with people in a variety of activities.  As well as humans, she has completed many portraits of their pets, of paws and hooves.  She continues to enjoy the process of painting and is making her best effort to remain loose and spontaneous. “I enjoy experimenting with textures and the combination of thick and thin applications of on the same canvas.”
